ECAN is proud to be an official partner of Sun Day.

Mobilizing employees to advocate for renewable energy in the workplace.

Sun Day is a global celebration of clean energy launching the week of September 21, 2025.

Solar energy is now the cheapest source of power on the planet – and gives us a chance to actually do something about the climate crisis. Employees have the power to drive this shift, by advocating for their workplace to adopt clean energy, push for renewable policies, and lead the move away from fossil fuels.

Whether big or small, every action counts.

Here’s what ECAN members can do to participate in Sun Day!
Draw and Share your sun on Linkedin, tag us!
The Sun Day logo is only half a sun - symbolizing that we have the technology for clean energy, but we still need the will to make it happen. Complete the image by creating your own sun and sharing it on social media. Tag #EmployeeClimateAction and your company to show your support for renewable energy and inspire others to join in.

What is the Sun Day campaign?

A global campaign led by activist Bill McKibben to celebrate the power of clean energy and the movement to phase out fossil fuels.
A simple yet powerful message: we have the solutions to accelerate clean power, all we need is the political will to scale the adoption of renewables, and make it accessible to all.
A week of positive action - starting on September 21, 2025
