The objective of the meeting was to provide participants with an unique opportunity to enhance their influence skills, build deep relationships, and take collective action with like-minded colleagues. Unlike top-down authority, influence ripples in every direction inside companies. The retreat curriculum was built around three key elements of influence: systems thinking, coalition building, and collective action.

The Outcome

Over the course of the retreat, attendees learned how to decode the systems shaping corporate climate policy, identify key decision-makers in their own workplaces, and engage allies across the company to take collective climate action. Employees are now invited to meet regularly across companies to foster employee collaboration and share best practices.
