A quarterly newsletter on sustainable logistics, written and produced independently, shared company-wide via Viva Engage and emailed directly to around 200 people across supply chain, sales, and sustainability. It combines internal and external case studies, market developments, and practical knowledge to build awareness of sustainability in logistics decision-making — running for 1.5 years so far.

What gave you the courage to start?
I saw that logistics decisions across the company were rarely informed by sustainability knowledge or context — not out of resistance, but simply lack of exposure. I wanted to close that gap by making relevant case studies, market trends, and ideas easy to access for anyone touching logistics decisions, without waiting for a formal mandate to do so.
The Outcome
Consistent quarterly publication for 1.5 years (6 issues so far), reaching around 200 people directly by email plus company-wide visibility via Viva Engage — the 4th issue alone was seen by over 3,000 colleagues. Consistently positive feedback from readers across supply chain, sales, and sustainability functions.
The Impact
The newsletter is gradually building sustainability literacy across teams involved in logistics decisions. There's no concrete impact on decisions yet, but it's laying the groundwork — keeping the topic visible and familiar so that when decision points arise, the context and options are already known rather than new.
The Biggest Challenge
Finding the time to research, write, and produce it consistently every quarter alongside a full-time role. Using AI tools to help draft and structure content has made this more sustainable.
The Biggest Learning
That consistency matters more than scale — a modest, regular publication sustained over time builds more trust and attention than a one-off big push.
Most Enjoyed
Knowing that each issue is slowly raising awareness and preparing minds for action — even before any single decision changes, the groundwork for future change is being laid.
